Me? I’m Bekah. Writer, military spouse, former fashion designer, mama, and expert tea drinker living in the PNW.

I’ve loved writing ever since I was a child and have been pursuing it in some capacity since then, be it scrawling observations in notebooks, typing up short stories, or blogging. In addition to devouring books left and right.

After working as a fashion designer for ten years, I shifted my focus to writing full time. I tell stories, both real and imagined, about women facing the grit of life while learning and growing through hardship. I’m constantly jotting down story ideas while doing my kids’ hair, painting the walls of our fixer-upper, or walking our polar bear of a dog.

I’ve been married to a military guy for 16 years, and together we’ve navigated the highs and lows of this unique life. My Substack is my blog of sorts, where I write about military life, creativity, and parenting.

When I’m not writing, you can find me hanging out with/herding/taking care of my three rather energetic children alongside my tattooed husband, while clutching a cup of tea in one hand.
